Lee Rigby was a young man whose life was taken away from him by extremists. They are the ones that took his young life on the streets of our Country with no remorse shown to him or his life or those who loved him. Why should we as British People show any remorse towards them? Why should we be humane when they scream at our justice system from the dock in court, and of course there is the cost to millions of us to keep them locked away and off our streets.
How anyone can do what they did to another human being is beyond me. To parade with blood soaked hands in the streets of our Capital screaming out that what they do is for Islam is a disgrace to us as a Nation that has peacefully tried to co-exist for so long. Lee had no one there for him and it is our duty to make sure that his killers never walk free again. Personally, I believe no remorse should be shown towards these two murderers. If they want to go to their maker feeling empowered by the fact that they killed an innocent young man, we should then help them on their way.
For those of us that have faith we believe in God. It's the same God as millions worship across the globe and we as individuals are allowed to show our faith by obeying certain traditions that have been passed down through the ages. How we choose to worship is left to us and what I believe is that we should all have the right to worship as we please. I DON'T believe that any God would condone what those two creatures did to Lee!
Right here and right now, Life seems to hold no value and we as a Society can not keep allowing this to happen. I love my Country, but I want to be safe and I want my children to be safe and with our Judicial system at the moment, there is no deterrent to stop anyone from just walking the streets and killing. Do I believe in Capital Punishment........Yes I do. Why? because I'm not a killer, I hold human life as the most precious gift to have and I can't agree that others should have the same privlages as me if they can not live in a Society where murder is just not allowed. If we decide to have a life sentence then it should be without tarifs of any kind. This kind of pre-meditated murder is not acceptable and I know I speak for many when I say this.
If your life was to be turned upside down by a viscious child killer, a terroist a cold blooded murderer, what would you want.................Justice? Walk a mile in the shoes of victims or their families, then decide. I call for a referendum where we the public are allowed to have our voices heard. Victims and their loved ones carry out a life sentence until they die and many never live to see Justice served.
My heart, my thoughts and my every bit of humanity goes out to all that have been affected by these terrible crimes. I don't care about colour or religion, I care about people and Justice.
